WHAT IS A RETRACTABLE AWNING?
A retractable awning is a shading system that can be extended when needed and retracted when not in use. It uses outdoor fabric such as polyester, acrylic, or PVC. Depending on the model, the frame may be made of aluminum, steel, or a combination of both, with aluminum arms and steel brackets. It provides shade and protection from the sun and light rain while improving the appearance of outdoor spaces.

The lifespan of a retractable awning depends on the fabric, frame, usage, and maintenance. With proper care, it can last for many years. It provides protection from the sun and light rain but is not designed to withstand typhoons or strong winds. The awning must be retracted during severe weather to prevent damage.
DO YOU REPAIR RETRACTABLE AWNINGS? CAN THE FABRIC AND PARTS BE REPLACED?
Yes. You may send us photos of the damaged awning for an initial assessment and estimated cost, or we can arrange a technician visit for an additional fee. You may also bring the awning to our store for inspection. The fabric and individual parts can be replaced, subject to availability. Final repair costs will be confirmed after a complete assessment.
ARE RETRACTABLE AWNINGS EXPENSIVE?
Prices vary depending on the awning type, size, fabric choice, customized dimensions, and optional upgrades such as a motorized system operated by remote control. We offer several options to suit different needs and budgets.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, accidents, normal wear and tear, typhoons, strong winds, or repairs and modifications made by unauthorized installers.
HOW DO WE MEASURE IT?
Measure the space from left to right for the width, then measure how far the awning should extend from the wall for the projection. Provide the measurement as Width × Projection. You may also send us a photo of the area for assistance.
